Welcome to the website for Girlguiding North East England. As part of Girlguiding UK we want to reflect all of the aims and ambitions of our national organisation and all the fantastic things it can offer. If you live in the North East this site is a place for you to visit to find out much more about what we offer locally.
A website is only as useful as it is up to date so we have been putting a lot of energy into making sure that we keep it up to date and that if you want to get information this will be the first point of reference. As well as being informative there is also the beginnings of some interaction and we are looking at ways in which this may be extended.
I hope that you will feel that your Region team are there to help you extend your own guiding life and that of the young people you work with and we are always open to suggestions of ways in which we can do that.
There are about 55,000 members of Girlguiding North East England, a fact which both surprises our members and non-members. We are a very large and significant organisation so we need to make our presence felt.
