International Guiding in North East England, this gives you all the opportunity to learn more about International guiding and also to take part in the many opportunities within the Region. 

• ICE for the 11-13 year old guides (see the section on ICE for more information)
• International Opportunities weekend for members of Senior Section 14-26 
• International leaders half day – you will need to complete an I/N form (leaders) & I/N form (Girls)
• Gaining Training January 2011 for leaders interested in taking units aboard. (please see section on Gaining)
• INTOPS for all Senior Section Members and Guiders (see Guiding)

We have been very active within the last year, sending groups of SS Guides and Leaders to World Centres and International Camps, as well as organising groups to Sri Lanka and Japan.  It is a rewarding feeling that we have been active in Counties and individual Units going abroad in 2009, and I hope that this will extend in 2010 and beyond.
