In 2005 Girlguiding North East England raised money to help the Guides on the island of Montserrat to rebuild their headquarters that was destroyed by volcanic eruptions.
Building work was started in 2007.
In 2009, a group are visiting the Island in order to deliver Peer Education in a variety of topics.
