Training / Meeting room hire

The Region Office now has well equipped rooms which are available for hire for meetings and trainings at a cost of £11.00 per hour

Our Headquarters is a few moments walk from the Monks Cross Shopping Park with good bus services and situated just off the Ring Road and A64 for those driving

SWITCH

Grant information and criteria

SWITCH, A Lottery-funded Girlguiding UK project, has grants of up to £2,000 available for girls and young women aged 10-25 in England.

Grants are awarded by regional youth panels keen to support projects that help young women overcome social and economic barriers and empower them to succeed.

Who can apply? – Girls and young women aged 10 – 25 for individual or group grants

Who should make the application? - A girl or young women within the 10 – 25 year age group

How much can be applied for? – Up to £2,000

Who will be considered for a grant? - Grants will only be awarded to applicants affected by social or economic barriers as indicated by community issues such as high crime rates, isolation, inadequate services and facilities etc
