Youth Forum

What is it? The Youth Forum is for Senior Section members aged 14-25 to have a voice in the Region. Please contact your County Commissioner if you would like to be a representative or observer for your County

When do they take place? Youth Forums take place twice a year, once in March and once in October.  However in 2008 there a no meetings but we are holding a NOW weekend 4 - 6 July at Wynches OPEN TO ALL SENIOR SECTION MEMBERS - see more details and application form below.
What happens at a Youth Forum meeting? The morning session usually covers: forthcoming North East England events that young people can be involved with, a Chairman’s report on what has happened since the last forum, then an update from each County representative as to what has been happening for Senior Section members in each County. The afternoon varies, in the past there has been training on ‘Safe from Harm’ and a Self Esteem session. In October 2006 the Youth Forum held a birthday party to celebrate 90 years of the Senior Section.
